Passover (Pesach) is celebrated by Jews and Muslims celebrate Ashura
Obama is celebrating Passover in the White house.  I thought he was Christian.  Why not celebrate Easter, like a good Christian?  Oh yeah, he was conveniently busy in Afghanistan. He seems to be busy a lot during important holidays for Christians.  Ashura is a fast that Islam calls for at the end of Pesach.

Why aren’t the  Dems freaking out over this?  If Obama is promoting a religion, then the progressive freaks should be up in arms over this.

Many may not know this, but Muslims also commemorate the Exodus of the Hebrews out of Egypt by fasting the ninth and tenth day of the first month of the Islamic lunar calendar. The event is called Ashura, stemming from the Arabic word for “ten.”

Obama’s White House continues new tradition with Passover Seder:

All presidents create their own White House traditions, and tonight is an event that may wind up as one of President Obama’s legacies: The White House Seder.

As Passover begins at sundown tonight, Obama and about 20 guests gather in the Old Family Dining Room of the residence to eat a meal, recite prayers, and re-tell the story of Jewish enslavement and liberation.

This special Seder, first done last year, sprung from Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign. Some staff members planned an improvised Seder while on the trail in Pennsylvania, and word filtered back to the boss.

Obama showed up with the salutation, “hey, is this the Seder?,” according to this fine account of the event. At evening’s end, Obama replaced the traditional declaration — “Next year in Jerusalem!” — with a bit of an update: “Next Year in the White House!”

And so it was. And even after Obama moves out, there will probably be many “next years” to come with White House Seders.

یعنی هر رئیس جمهوری به کاخ سفید می رود، سنتی را ایجاد می کند و پرزیدنت باراک اوباما هم سنت برگزاری خروج از مصر بنی اسرائیل را افزود که همان عاشورای مسلمانان است در تقویم قمری!
